COTTAGE CONSERVATORY
STORY

I am so thrilled to share with you the story of The Cottage Conservatory.

I have always had a passion for all things artistic, designing and creating!

After graduating from Sarasota's Ringling College of Art and Design in 2006 with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Photography, I hit the ground running with my career.

During the day I worked at an Interior Design firm and nights I worked at a restaurant.

That was my life for many years!

With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, I decided to leave the Interior Design world and start my own business.

In 2019, I started (which many of you know me from) The Wandering Whale mobile bar company.

With this company, I combined many years of experience in design, partnered with hospitality and created a fleet of custom bars to provide unique bartending services for wedding and private events!

I love the event industry and knew it was a community I wanted to grow with!

Cut to today...

For the past 5 years I have been quietly working, researching, saving and planning for this venue venture!

I told myself, I would not announce this project until we found and purchased the property.

With a lot of savings and sacrificing, we are now the owners of a 1948 cottage in downtown Sarasota.

I have envisioned this conservatory venue in my head hundreds of times and cannot wait to bring it to life.

I am coming full circle with my Interior Design background, 20+ years of work in hospitality and current event experience, all to create a truly special venue that embraces nature, community and life's celebrations!
